What a journey life has been so far. Being an international speaker has brought culture into my life. I’ve come to realize that entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart. My column at ForbesWomen has granted me the opportunity to meet the most fascinating people from around the world, and I’ve received 36 Editors’ Picks recognitions along the way. Working in sports & entertainment for 15 years showed me how resilient I am. The moment I successfully defended my dissertation, I realized that anything is possible. Swimming with sharks without a cage gave me a baseline of ‘if I can get in the water with a shark, I can do anything I put my mind to!’
