Hi, I’m dr. Cheryl robinson
I’m an international speaker, media coach, leadership coach/course developer and regular contributor at ForbesWomen with 27 Editors' Pick titles. Additionally, I help others edit their books with the most recent landing on Amazon’s top 20 list. Having interviewed over 400 women and counting, I have had the fortunate opportunity to meet and engage with some of the most powerful, influential and inspiring women in the world, including Suzanne Shank, Kathleen Kennedy, Bobbi Brown, Diane von Furstenberg, Susie Wolff, Claire Williams, Christie Pearce Rampone, Maria Sharapova, La La Anthony, Melissa Rauch and Candace Cameron Bure.
After graduating undergrad, I moved to Los Angeles. I thought I was going to be the next Steven Spielberg. Although life didn’t go as planned, I did meet him in the most badass way. I moved back east and pursued a career in sports starting in intercollegiate athletics. Wanting more for my life, I attended Columbia University for my master’s degree. A couple years later earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.
I learned early on in my career that networking is the #1 skill for success. I networked my way to opportunities that include ForbesWomen, Formula E, 2014 NYNJ Super Bowl and managing a boxer. Over the past 20 years of my professional career, there have been three main areas that I’ve gained expertise in: public speaking, writing and inspiring others. I have 20+ years of conducting workshops and moderating and speaking on panels including speaking overseas.
For over 20 years, I’ve conducted workshops, seminars, spoken on panels and served as a mentor & coach for individuals who have recently graduated college to educational professionals to executives. In 2014, I developed two courses for Stockton University. In five years, I taught 400 students maintaining a 5.0 IDEA rating.
