How did i

get here?

Does saying the word clit make you blush? It's ok if it does. It was difficult for me to say it for the longest time, especially when trying to describe to the doctors what was happening. But now, with all I've been through, it's no big deal. Clit this. Clit that. Let's normalize talking about the female anatomy.

My clit swelled, at its worse, to the size of three grapes. There, I said it. It's vulnerable. It's awkward, especially knowing family members are reading this. But most importantly, it's empowering!

After recently undergoing life-saving surgery, I still question why I went through this. It's hard for me to believe that it was all for nothing. So, What The Clit?? was born. A story to relate to others who are dealing with chronic pain that no one can see, a place where people can come for resources and inspiration.

It's lonely dealing with chronic pain and not understanding why or what it even is or even if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I searched for hours, months and even years and found no one else in a similar situation. Just know other people can sympathize. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
